  1. Will this cradle fit my Sky Lift?

Yes, the Cruiser Sky Lift Cradle will fit any existing Sky Lift new or old by just changing one bolt. Instructions on how to change & operate the cradle are provided.
  2. How do I Know if the Lift fits my bike?

The lifting cradle will generally lift all models that have exposed lower frame rails. IE: The frame rails are the lowest part of the bike. The lifting area dimensions are 450mm x 430mm. The lowest height setting is 130mm. This means the distance between ground level and the bottom of the frame rails needs to be 130mm or more (Optional lowering kit available, see question 4). As always if you are in any doubt feel free to contact us first using the "ask us" form.
  3. Do I need to modify my bike?

Absolutely not! Your bike will stay totally standard, no modifications or parts to be fitted ensuring your bike stays looking original, and you do not invalidate any Manufacturer warranty.
  4. What is the maximum weight the Cruiser Sky Lift can take?

The maximum weight the Cruiser Sky Lift can accommodate is 350Kgs.
  5. What is the maximum & minimum height of the Cruiser Sky Lift?

The maximum height of the lifting platform is 620mm. The minimum height is 130mm. We do have an optional "Lower Leg" for the Sky Lift which will lower the minimum height of the lifting platform to around 100mm, please contact us about this.
  6. Is it safe to leave my bike on the abba Cruiser Sky Lift - i.e winter storage?

Of course! That's what the lift is designed for, you can leave your bike on the Sky Lift indefinitely. In fact if you do not use your bike for one day or one year the Lift will keep your bike safe, upright, prevent unnecessary flat spots on tyres and compression on shock/fork springs.
  7. I can see in some of your photos there is an additional strap over the bike, what is the purpose of this?

Yes, if you want to give additional stability to the motorcycle on the lift it is possible to place a ratchet strap over the bike. This may be useful for moving the bike around at height or on a slightly uneven floor. The Cruiser Sky Lift cradle has holes on either side to hook the strap into. These holes can be seen in some of the product photos.
  8. On my bike the exhaust/engine hangs lower than the bikes lower frame rails, is there anyway around this?

Yes, we have available an optional bracket kit which can be added to the Cruiser Sky Lift. This will allow you to lift the bike up on the frame rails while avoiding any lower hanging parts - e.g: Engine Sump, Exhausts etc. Please click here for more information on this product.
  9. Will the Sky Lift Tool Tray fit the Cruiser Sky Lift?

Yes. It will fit on either side of the central cradle & on all 3 lower support legs.
  10. Does the abba Cruiser Sky Lift come with a guarantee?

Absolutely! As with all abba products, and to give you complete peace of mind, we offer a full no quibble 3 year guarantee. As we do not manufacture the hydraulic pump in house the guarantee on this component is the manufactures standard 1 year guarantee.
  11. How quick is Shipping?

For full shipping information please see our Shipping information page.
  12. How can I obtain the product instructions?
